An “intelligent” cork that perfectly seals the bottle and regulates the pressure.
The addition of a proprietary oenological gas (a mixture of CO2 and nitrogen) that raises the pressure of the open bottle to block the existing CO2 and eject oxygen to protect against oxidation.
THE TECHNIQUE IN A FEW WORDS :
The “Smart Cap” can be replaced after each service to ensure a perfect seal before the bottle is chilled again.
The pistol is made entirely of stainless steel and is elegant, solid and durable.
Squeezing the trigger releases the gas compressed to 200 bar in the cartridge through the ‘go’ valve in the smart cap, to rise to 3 bar in the bottle.
The gas injected is an ideal mixture of CO2 (80%) and Nitrogen (20%), which compresses the wine and blocks the CO2 (the bubbles) present in the Champagne.
The cork manages the pressure plus has a “return” valve to eject the CO2 contained in the bottle.
